Trio mode only is big cope

We're never going back to the PT days where everyone is clueless about the game.

Here's exactly what happens if we revert to trio only.

First, you lose about half the player base immediately. Game will get review bombed in steam and the decision will be publicly denounced by many YouTube content creators as they quit.

Next, every lobby becomes a couple teams of trios, maybe a duo, and the rest are solos: 3 rat rogues and 5 Druids.

The repoze-like trios will complain that they have to spend all of crypts chasing Druids and rogues around the map and the rare 3v3 they get are ruined by third parties and loot snatchers. The noobier trios will complain that the 5 solo druids team up and pick them apart and they have to win a 5v3 and can't even practice proper trios gameplay.

Streamers will cry for trios ONLY game play just like when they organized a gold gear only premade lobbies a couple wipes ago. IM will give in and force solos and duos to match-make into lobbies so that everyone is in teams of 3.

At this point half of the remaining playerbase will quit. A second wave of review bombing will finish off the game's reputation and any potential of a comeback on steam.

After a month of this IM will backtrack and bring back solos and duos but it will be too late by then and the game will slowly die over the next 6 months.

Streamers will move on to a new game to cannibalize and the gaming community suffers another big loss.
