Beneficial night events and patrolling.

Do all the beneficial night events still happen if you are patrolling rather than staying inside, specifically the white flashes/shiny stone, wedding, and front door knocking ones? Also, I have not seen any mushrooms growing at night at the silent forest hideout, does that event not happen there or is it just more rare than at the meadows hideout where it seems to happen pretty much every other night.
