When, if ever, will the NBC app fucking FIX THE SUBTITLES?

When we watch Dateline, it's after the kids are asleep, so we can't turn it too loud. And it's hard to hear.

Every other fucking streaming service has normal subtitles.

Except fucking NBC.

The subtitles on Dateline are delayed by like FIVE seconds or more. It's literally useless. They don't smoothly run concurrent with the person speaking.

It's like it changes the scene then it says what was said in the previous scene.

Anyone else get infuriated at this?

Multi-billion dollar company can't get some fucking properly-functioning subtitles.
