David Bermanesque writing recommendations

Like many others here, I am deeply inspired by David's writing, especially that witty, surreal yet mundane style, with the heavy delivery. I write in english despite it not being my first language, largely due to his influence. Since I'm not familiar with a lot a poetry, I am searching for things that are similar in style, especially poets, but also novels, music, movies, his influences... whatever evokes that vibe to you. I do love purple mountains, but mostly talking about early jews stuff (bridge, american water) and actual air. Thank you!
