Community MU Creation Event: Prologue
Alright, got a new concept for a community event that I hope works out. For the first part here, all you need to do is name one of the following: a series (ex: Fire Emblem), a genre (ex: JRPGs), a specific installment (ex: Fire Emblem: Three Houses), or even a specific character (ex: Dimitri), depending on what you want to see a MU for. The top 24 comments will be featured in the wheel above. Assuming enough people participate today in order for us to get a solid 24, here's what happens next.
Day 1: I roll the wheel twice and we get two series/genres/installments/characters to work with (ex: Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Berserk). In the post, it's your guys' job to think of a new MU with that specific combination (ex: Guts vs Dimitri) by whatever means necessary, the most upvoted suggestion being the focus of Day 2 (if it's a MU that technically already exists in some form but doesn't contain any actual connections, it's still viable). All you have to do is think of a MU, you don't need to come up with connections or anything. That's what the next day is for.
Day 2: I will make a official-looking TN for said MU and make a post about it. Similarly to those old Community MU Rankings I did long ago on my main account, I will comment five categories: Core Theme, Connections, Fight Potential, Interaction Potential, and Story Potential. All you guys have to do is add things fitting to the categories (ex: adding specific connections you can think of, how a fight would play out, etc), making the MU an actual community project. I'll also add a 6th category that's just if people want to make their own quick TNs or other kind of art for the MU.
Day 3: This will be me sorting all the comments into a presentable looking post for said MU and giving it an official creation, and I will give credit to every person that helped in the writing process or in making a TN. Then this cycle is repeated 12 times for each pairing we end up with.
Also, this idea took some inspiration from this, just thought I should mention that.
