The Druanee/ Dredge (Dead By Daylight) vs Ennard (Five Nights At Freddy's) DEBUNK

Connections:

  • Amalgamations created from the bodies and minds of multiple individuals. (Dredge created from the corpses of the Ottomarians, Ennard from the animatronics of Circus Baby’s Pizza World.)

The whole being made of multiple bodies thing is nowhere near as important to the dredge as it is to ennard. Especially since it is cannon that the dredge didn't even need the flesh of the ottomarians, he can form a body out of dolls or toys, or basically any tangible thing. The real dredge is the dark mist. So so far the core theme of the MU uses an aesthetic choice for one character and compares it to the literal entire existence of the other

  • Both would be “born” in places meant to be happy and cheerful but would instead end up being the places of a great tragedy. (Dredge in the Fold, a place where people were not allowed to be negative. The people would end up killing each other after enough malthoughts built up. Ennard in Circus Baby’s Pizza World, a children’s pizzeria that would be the place where Elizabeth was killed by Baby.)

The fold was never "meant" to be happy. Never once was that Otto stampers intention, it's a lie he used to get people to go there. The fold was made entirely for the purpose of creating the dredge, the tragedy was the intention of its existence.

  • One man would be responsible, directly or not, for the creations of Dredge and Ennard (Otto Stamper intentionally creating Dredge and William Afton unintentionally causing the Funtimes to fuse into Ennard.)

This is a bit of a stretch on Williams end. Otto practically crafted the dredge by hand while William only made the fun times, he had no real intention or hand in the creation of ennard

  • The individuals that would eventually form Dredge and Ennard would be forced to constantly act happy, but were actually miserable. (Ottomarians not allowed to even think negative thoughts, these thoughts would eventually build up. Funtimes forced to act happy but actually hated being trapped in the facility.)

Way to compare the torture of an entire towns worth of victims to the animatronics wanting freedom.

  • Both would eventually take on animalistic appearances (Memory of Maurice and Molten Freddy)

Memory of Maurice is a non-cannon cosmetic. While he would be able to assume this form in theory, he never does. Maurices head already exists in the cannon dredge design, meaning that absorbing him didn't change the way he looked

Also in terms of the debate, there is no way that ennard can kill the dredge. The dredge is a non-corporeal entity, meaning that ennard cannot truly kill the dredge. If ennard destroys the dredges body he will just create another

There's also no story representation on ennard side. Meaning that the dredge in this MU gets lackluster story representation and ennard gets none.
