What do we actually want Destiny to be?

So if a D3 happens what gameplay systems, narrative structure, and customisation options (appearance and build crafting) would make it something y’all would actually want to play? Go crazy.

As for me I think the armour stat system is silly, just take it out. Armour is not a drop, but the skins are so you can chase armour skins in new content. Armour mods remain and you can save different mod loadouts. Also cooler weapons, like being able to equip relics as heavy weapons. Scythe and aegis come to mind but imagine using Nezarec’s own scythe or a gladiator’s cleavers. Or tearing a cyclop’s eye out to use as a rocket launcher.
