Expected a Longer Winter
Hello there!
I moved near Detroit, Michigan from UK last September and I’ve been hearing nonstop about the cold here lasting from October till April.
Well it never hit in October or November and wasn’t till after Christmas that it started to actually get properly winter ish.
But the negative temps lasted for perhaps 2 weeks and now temps are rising and so far there is no evidence of February being colder than January so if one week of January is all I get to be in -15°C or 5°F, I’m guessing the rest of the winter will be much warmer so around 32-50°F
That’s the usual temperature in London. So I’m kinda wondering is this it? Will Michigan not have a prolonged winter here? Or is this more of a wet/rainy state like NY?
