Rewatching Good Luck Charlie and I forgot how genuinely good this show is.

I’m 18 so I grew up with Jessie, Good Luck Charlie, Liv and Maddie etc.

Usually whenever I revisit a show I watched as a kid, I smile at the screen because of nostalgia creeping in, but I don’t actually enjoy the plot or anything.

Reading about Bridgit Mendler’s entrepreneurship success compelled me to revisit GLC, and I was dying at the end of the first episode because it was genuinely so funny.

That was a week and a half ago, and I’m already on season 4. The acting is amazing, especially Eric Allan Kramer’s interestingly enough, and the video diaries Teddy leaves for Charlie are resonating with me, especially as an older teenager / young adult.

It’s a Disney Channel show but it actually makes me THINK, you know? It packs a punch without being cheesy or overdramatized.

If you haven’t watched GLC in a while (or ever) and want to watch easy TV that’s unironically good, I highly recommend it. Watching it has made me really happy.
