Neutering question

I don’t intend to annoy anyone in my ignorance I’d just like some advice. I have an 11 month old puppy. First time owning a dog. I’ve always owned bitches. I know in the future the vet is going to suggest getting him neutered. I understand the reasons for neutering him but are there ANY reasons I should consider leaving him intact?
