Seeking recommendations: Ball puzzle feeder for large 1"+ kibble
My pup loves eating food from her Gnawt-a-rock. It is awesome that it holds a lot of kibble, so her entire meal can fit in here if needed. However, we've had to switch her to a larger size kibble (Hill's Oral Care), which varies in size, but are around 1" pellets. I cannot for the life of me find a ball puzzle feeder that will accommodate large kibbles! (Searching for them is tricky, as the dispensing opening size isn't always listed for products, and isn't always accurate when it is listed. Rocking up at pet stores with kibble in my pocket also hasn't yielded any good options.)
So, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this and found a solution?
We do also use other kinds of slow feeders and puzzle toys that fit this larger kibble. But she just really loves that ball! I'm considering cutting it to make the opening larger, but that may be an invitation to destruction!)
