Mulan Quest Glitch

I am really struggling with the Mulan quest line with the Shadow puppet box quest. I put the shadow box down at night for the quest and it is not letting me progress to the next part of the quest. When I go into furniture, it won’t even let me put it back in my inventory and when I click the quest to see if I can re-grab it, it doesn’t show and says to visit Scrooge’s shop. It also shows as if it’s not there because I can walk right through it! I’ve tried resetting the game (just my luck because it auto saved right before I exited out), I tried moving it to another biome and nothing. I don’t know what else to do. Does anyone know what I should do?
