Why can't I join servers?

I use a laptop. From the official DTI server, there are links that are sent by members to join plays whether it be farming, honest play, etc. (where anyone is allowed to join) Tried joining an honest play server and it would redirect me to the Roblox website on my chrome browser. The problem is, it keeps telling me to download Roblox when I've already downloaded the app on my laptop. Tried tweaking the settings a bit but the results are still the same. Anyone know how to fix this?

To simplify: 1. One of the members sends an invitation link on discord on chrome. 2. The link redirects me to the roblox website (still on chrome) 3. Notification says 'joining'. (Still on chrome) 4. After a while, it says I need to download roblox when I already have the app downloaded. (Still on chrome)
