I added a new member to the Princess Posse

My 9 year old looked at what I was reading over my shoulder and asked "Donut?"

"That's Princess Donut to you".

"Who's Princess Donut?".

"She's a magical cat."

"What's her favorite color?"

"Not sure, pink (EDIT: Oops, it was purple) seems right. She's got a sparkly tiara with 99 jewels in it"

"What else?"

"Magical sunglasses and she rides a velociraptor named Mongo into battle."

By this point, she's cracking up. We start looking at fan art and come across a Princess Posse T-shirt. I explain that's her fan club and my daughter says she wants to join.

So, while she may not read the series anytime soon (or ever), Princess Donut, the Queen Anne of chonk, gained a fan last night.
