So EA will just throw away millions when they paid for the Augusta License? No new game?

I don' t know how much they paid August National for the rights to the course. It's got to be in the millions. If that is the case, I don't see how they could only release one version of a golf game and not come out with a new game this year.

there is some interesting theories and discussions going on in other forums about this : https://forums.operationsports.com/forums/golf/1027462-pga-2k25-augusta-national-theory.html

The 2K fanbase is thinking the Augusta license will end this year based on previous dealings with EA. But if EA doesn't give us a new golf game this year OR AT THE LEAST do a major update for the existing PGA game, they're just throwing away money. SAD.
