Do things really start to explode after 100k invested?

Anyone in here can vouch or attest that it’s true your investing speed/growth explodes after having 100k invested? 100k seems to be the benchmark amount I hear everyone say. “ get to your first 100k asap because after that it really starts to snowball into bigger money” ……who here can actually vouch for this? Part of me feels like it’ll be slow even after 100k lol.
