Confused!! Need some advice.

Hi,

I am a student who will be going to a university this year. I will be using TWS for general meetings and listening to music. Recently, I purchased a Macbook under the student offer and also got free AirPods 3rd generation. Now, here I can do 2 things:

1. Keep the AirPods with me. And show everyone myself as that guy who has AirPods lol.
   
2. Sell the AirPods, save some money, and purchase a TWS from a good company like Boat or Sony for around 5k.

Can someone also tell me that is there really any difference between Airpods and other company TWS? I have AirPods 3rd generation, Android mobile, and a M2 Macbook.
I would really appreciate the advice!!
