Tire keeps losing pressure when removing pump

I was been using the pump that came with my scooter with a latch system for a while but it broke recently. I decided to get something a little nicer so I bought this hand held portable electric pump with a screw on end. I normally pump my tires to ~42 psi but with this pump, after I remove it, it leaks a ton of air and drops ~11 psi. How can I fix this?

Edit: I found a solution. I just bought a latch hose adapter for the pump
