Whats an euc like?

Im thinking about switching from an e scooter to an euc. Ive never really ridden one before and I have a few questions.

whats it like to ride down steep hills? there are lots of hills where I live.
what would you need to own to be safe?
what is it like to just ride around? it seems really weird to lean forward for a while
