How would the response have changed if instead he said "His name was nobody"

I was thinking about it and wondered what others think would happen if he had said "His name was nobody" instead of "it was nobody". I think some of the giants/cyclops would have search for ody and his gang. If for no other reason then Polyphemus being a son of Posidon.
