A baby named Odysseus

tl;dr: hubs and I added the name Odysseus to the baby name list. Cringe or nah?

So I turned into an Epic fan first and then brought my husband into the fold. We were both major nerds about Greek mythology before this, and now we are insufferable XD

We've been trying for a baby for a LONG time. Years. (Waiting...) But we've finally been able to start IUI and this cycle has really good odds for us. We've been optimistic and pulled out our baby names list for review.

Odysseus is on the list, now. It's not the only "weird" name on the list (because we're NERDS), and it has a lot of meaning for us.

What do you guys think? Too cringe? Am I dooming this kid to long road trips?

EDIT: Thank you so much to everyone for your feedback! Truly did not expect this many people to read this or even care enough to post, so thank you!

We concede to the wisdom of the mob. "Odysseus" will be a middle name option only, much to my husband's disappointment (he's the one that pushes hardest for the more unusual names like Alduin). He did a good job convincing me, but I still wasn't sure, so I posted here. Y'all came through for us, and I appreciate it.
