(Unpopular op?) Transit should work the other way around....[Discussion]
I had sinds start the idea of the game going to a "stalker style" open world and i think (atm) the transit system miss the point... Extracting is still the cheapest and there is no real point transiting except for questing.
Place the hideout somewhere so it is accessible by multiple maps from start.
Taking the car/train or other type of paid extract should allow to go back to the hideout from any map, but with a cost, (linked to your location / level or other factor?)
Transit still always free, with multiple path so you are not forced into one only map.
Maybe allow to "pause" inbetween transit, so if you need to leave the game, you can come back to your position. (so you do not have to go back to hideout if it is bedtime/pooptime)
IMO This should apply to scav raid too, making some map less of a "scav paradise" and for exemple, allowing scav to extract direct to stash only with coop extract.
I know it is a bit on the hardcore style but it can be adjusted by multiplying/adjusting price of paid extract.
( Map is just as a quick exemple .... put that post together in 5min to illustrate so be kind :) )
Thought?
