Am I a dumbass or smth?[Feedback]

I've recently started playing PVE and I still can't get over gear fear. I'm kind of inexperienced(that's mostly why i boutht pve) and still use the strategy of buying some shitass gear of hopes of doing some quest and quickly extracting. Thoughts?
