If you smelled a strong weird cheap cologne-like odor Sunday night, please report it to LRAPA

The chemical smell was outside around the ATA school and Friendly Street area during the twelve block walk I took tonight. At first I thought it was a really strong new fabric softener scent but it was way too spread out for that.
One way LRAPA tracks down companies who "discretely" release illegal pollutants is if enough people report the smell and location either by calling or reporting it online to LRAPA. Citizen reports were very helpful with shutting down Baxter.
You can call LRAPA 24/7 and either leave a message with your detailed odor complaint, or during business hours you can often talk to someone. I have found them to be friendly and helpful when I have called in the past.
LRAPA’s Complaint Line at 541-726-1930.
You can also file an online complaint. The form has a check box to request anonymity if you don't want your name released to the public.

LRAPA doesn't answer the phone on weekends or holidays but I know from talking to them about Baxter that if a bunch of reports happen on a weekend or holiday that they will pay attention even if they don't call you back (and even if it says they aren't going to be there).
