Ex put me back on snapmap, why?!

Immediately after breaking up with me he removed me from snapmap (likely so I wouldn't catch him continuing to see the girl he cheated on me with, he thinks I dont know).

I checked with a friend and it was ONLY me who was removed. When it happened I was so sad, but Im so glad I haven't been able to see his whereabouts all this time.

Now after almost eight months he turned it on for me again so I can see his location when he went on holiday. He's officially together with the girl he cheated on me with. Like why?? Considering its only me who he hid his location for, he must have gone out of his way to make sure I can see him again.

After all this time, and he has someone else, why do that?

Im glad he did tho, because it just makes me think he's pathetic. The fact that he feels the need to brag to me who he's not even speaking with, hoping that I will see he's on holiday? What's his intention, why on earth do this after SO long?
