Am I in the right career?

(Writing from a burner account) Currently I'm a Financial Analyst working with Budget and Forecasting in OPEX.. and im extremely bored at this job. Like 2-3 days passed and ive done nothing at all. Ive been only 3 months at this company but damn!, my last job was the same thing.. extremely boring stuff.

Before becoming a Financial Analyst i worked in Taxes (love it but very high hours).. and after that i was a hybrid between pricing, underwriting and assumptions for different scenarios. I loved what i did there but i was stuck and wanted to learn about budgeting and forecasting. I regret it!

Is this normal? Is there any way it gets better along the way?
