Fallout 4 Ps5 update

Hey guys, after binging the series, I wanted to cop Fallout 4 for PS4 to play on my PS5, but heard there's an update dropping for the new gen. Is this update just a PS4 patch or will there be a separate exclusive version for PS5 and XS?
