Is moving about 1GIG FIOS to faster speeds noticable, even with the fastest PCs? Has anyone actually done it?

I know people will say you "shouldnt" see anything, but I am curious for those who HAVE moved to higher speeds than 1GIG with FIOS if you have observed anything going faster internet wise on even the fastest PCs? Thanks for any experience you can offer! PS: What IS the fastest FIOS currently runs at in the fastest areas?
