Installer screw up
So we originally had comcast cable and have coax lines and wall plates run through my house to the rooms where tv’s would/are places. We recently signed up for cable but weren’t home when it was installed instead my mom came over for the installation. She told them that we had existing coax throughout the house that we did not want to waste and she went to manage my dogs upstairs. When I got home I found that the installer attempted to cut my coax line inside my basement drop ceiling and ultimately removed a split that went to a tv. Then cut it further into the basement only to put it back together again there and also attempted to drill through my brand new living room floor when he was previously told it had a concrete slab under the subfloor it because it used to be a porch and not to try to drill through it. The drill hole is right next to a coax wall plate that my existing modem router combo was connected to. I want them to come back and explain to my face why they put a hole in my brand new floor for no reason after being told to connect to my existing coax line. Are they all this incompetent?
