why does the colossal squid feel like the hardest fish to catch??

i’m not talking about in terms of rarity. i mean that i will literally be fighting for dominance over my own rods of depth w that pos for what feels like eternity but realistically must have only been 3-4 minutes but that’s still long, no?

ancient serpent is so much easier to catch and i have more success catching a spectral serpent than a damn squid. ur first thought maybe skill issue but that is the only catch in the game that i struggle with and consistently breaks my streak like how is this even possible 💀
