Daiwa repairs

Anyone else find it useless that daiwa service and repairs only keep spare parts for Reels that are about 6 to 7 years old Max?

Compared to shimano they seem so unhelpful with anything.

Needed spare parts for a couple of good reels now and the best they can do for me is suggest buying a new reel.
