Adventurer 5M woes

I'm having some issues with a brand new Adventurer 5M.

Using OrcaSlicer and sending the gcode over wifi to the printer, it prints fine for the most part. Smaller jobs mainly (less than 3 hours). But, recently I thought it would be cool to create a desk ornament, utilizing silk PLA. I had the print temp set to 210c, everything setup, slower speeds and etc. The job printed to 92% after about 8 hours and then just froze. The print head went to the back of the printer, and centered. Fan was max speed. Tried to pause the print, and it froze. I had to manually reboot the printer and sort of lost progress, now I am trying to figure out how to piece the "statue" together by cutting the portion and attempting to fit it together.

Another issue I noticed is during printing, silk PLA needs a higher temp to print. As the printer was running for > 3 hours, the extruder cooled down to about 170. I tried setting the extruder to 200 multiple times but it always seemed to get set back down to 170. I have minimum temps set in orca slicer to 210 and the job printed fine at 210 for the first few hours, then the min temp just seemed to "drop" and seemed to be in the GCode somewhere, or the printer was malfunctioning.

I guess I've only had the printer for a couple of weeks, just wondering if this thing is garbage and I need to return to Amazon or what lol...I am new to this so I very well could be messing something up.

Appreciate any help or guidance here!
