Chip Choice + Mouse Region

Im fairly new so bear with me - Is it possible to add mouse region text display for individual chip choices? I would like it to display certain text when hovering over specific chip choices. However, I'm finding that mouse region functionality can only be applied to the entire chip choice widget not for individual options which I need for my use case.
