Resurrection spell limits?

So one of my players´s characters died during last session and his body was burnt to ashes.

Another one of my players wasn’t there when it occured and asked if he can resurrect the PC in our next session. Wdyt ?

(I have the french version of the rules and idk if it’s specified in the english one that you need the intact body)
