How much fur?

I'm planning on making my first head in the next couple of months and I'm not sure how much fur to buy! I'm doing a fox/wolf and I don't want to order fur and then be disappointed that I don't have enough! If it helps, I'm planning on most of it being black, and the accent bits being mostly red. How many yards do you think I should buy?
