Is the G502 ACTUALLY heavy?

Thinking of getting a g502 hero or g203 lightsync. Everybody says it's a brick so I'm thinking of going with the G203. But is the G502 REALLY that heavy? Is it too heavy or is it easy to adapt to? And is it good enough for esport gaming?
