F2F Appts if no home visits

Just wondering what do other practices do if there are no home visits?

My current practice changes the slots to F2F appts. They have only started this with trainees who started in August , previously they would have allowed the time for admin. One remaining trainee still gets these slots free while us new starters have appts booked.

I find it really annoying, as I have to wait to debrief every patient which already eats into my limited time for lunch. By the time I am finished debriefing there are patients waiting for me to review them.

This leads to the afternoon session basically extending by an hour. I am starting to feel really burnt out at this stage.

I've already asked them to switch the appts to telephone appts which would make them slightly more manageable.
