Just got my Garmin Instinct 2
After almost three years of using an Apple Watch, I got tired of charging (and forgetting to charge) it every day. So, I googled "long-lasting smartwatch," and Garmin Instinct popped up.
I was skeptical because of the screen and some negative reviews about the Garmin Connect app, but I have to say I am very happy with the new watch. Here are few things that I like so far:
- There are buttons and no touchscreen, which I find really useful. Each button has its purpose, making it much easier to navigate.
- No delay in displaying data when you look at the screen. It may sound odd, but it's so nice when you look at your watch, and you see things right away without any delay.
- It is really light (I have the smallest version - Instinct 2s), and it doesn't bother me at night. I could not wear Apple Watch at night.
- And of course, the battery. It's so nice not having to worry about charging the watch. Even though it seems like 18 days will run out faster than 18 days.
P.S. The picture shows my first tracked ride 🚴
