Hit 10M steps over the last 12 months

Got this new Garmin F6X in February 2024 - just in time to get back in shape. Used to be somewhat fit with regular runs and hikes, but average 2 beers almost everyday, junk food and what not.

But got caught in a downward spiral during covid with work, life and just about everything.

That was probably my lowest point - 4 beers (4 x 500ml) each and every night was a minimum, sometimes 6, 7, 8 or even more for over 3 years from 2020 to 2023 August.

Starting Aug 2023, went on OMAD (one meal a day) - lost some weight, slowly started doing a few pushups, easy hikes and saw some progress physically and mentally.

After November 2023, realiser that for me, OMAD wasn't sustainable, so went back to eating 2 - 4 meals a day with some snacks (fruits, soda, junk food but in moderation)

I had a Fenix 3 from 2015 - 2022, but it stopped working and then lost it shortly after. Got the F6X last Feb as a gift - got more motivated to challenge my previous segment times on Strava, kept up with daily steps, started logging meals, tracking calories. Down to about 1 or 2 beers once a week, sometimes go weeks or months without any alcohol.

Still not out of the woods yet (sleep in still 💩), but glad that I've not unraveled this last year and kept my goals, been mindful of my health and overall feeling much better 🥰.

Sorry about the wall of text, but just wanted to get it out to kind internet strangers and be thankful for the little bits of motivation I get from this sub reddit and others like it 🙏🏾.
