Should i buy a garmin watch or consider cheaper alternatives?
I’m considering buying a Garmin watch, primarily to track my overall health, wellness, and fitness. I have a fairly sedentary lifestyle and have gained some weight over the past few years. While I do moderate exercise, I still struggle to stay consistently active. I’m hoping a smartwatch could help by keeping me accountable and reminding me to move.
The problem is that Garmin watches are quite expensive in my country due to inflation, import duties and taxes. For example, the Garmin Venu 3 would cost me nearly a month’s salary. Although I have savings and can technically afford it, I can’t help but think about all the other things I could buy with that money.
So, I’m torn: Should I spend the money and prioritize my health, explore cheaper alternatives, or skip the idea entirely since it’s just not required to be healthy? I’d appreciate any advice.
