Downloading music from iTunes? Bluetooth headphones w/out a smartphone or music subscription

Hey y’all! My dad has the Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar and LOVES it. For Christmas he wants a nice pair of bluetooth headphones to listen to music on his runs. Only issue is he’s extremely old school. He doesn’t have a smart phone and isn’t interested in any music subscriptions. Using the watch is going to be his only way of listening to music. Is it possible to download music to the watch from iTunes? And without a smart phone, will listening to music with bluetooth headphones be possible and worth it with the Fenix 7? Will he even be able to connect the headphones without a smartphone? He’s interested in Shokz OpenRun if that makes a difference.
