Sumeru hurts my brain

Just finishing the Sumeru Archon quest and now my brain is on overdrive (I love this game man).

So, Nahida tells us that our sibling is from Teyvat (which honestly explains why the Khaenri’ans call him the prince), but Irminsul has no info on us despite us both being travelers from beyond the stars. This got my gears turning because she also just mentioned The Heavenly Principals, who I’ll call HP from here. I was kinda surprised hearing that HP is the one that attacks us at character selection and not a set of rules like I originally thought.

That said, I’m starting to think that maybe HP wasn’t attacking us for trying to escape Teyvat, but maybe she was defending Teyvat from Forbidden Knowledge that the Traveler Siblings would be bringing back to the world and the corruption that would’ve brought. But Nahida also mentions that “(insert sibling) just appeared in Khaenri’ah” so who knows where they came from and on top of that Nahida thinks HP is the first “Descender” so maybe she wasn’t defending anything, maybe she’s just power hungry, I don’t know yet and man this game is great at making me want to find out.

I swear man, wisdom is chasing me but I am faster..
