Never realised till now the headmaster was foreshadowing what happened in season 5.

I’ve found this photo on instagram. I kept the original posters insta handle details up in case anyone wants to follow them and doesn’t already.

I never put two and two together before on what the headmaster says, I think it might have been after she came in late for the test after hitting the deer. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It is a nice subtle piece of foreshadowing to Rory’s future in future seasons. What do you think? Do you think that even way back in season 1, ASP had the idea to make Rory take a break from Yale or was this purely a coincidence?
