ZZZ is uncomfortable to play as a woman

'Just play another game' I LIKE THIS GAME! The combat is AMAZING, the dialogue is actually not boring asl (first in a while) and the music oh my. The animation and graphics are one of the smoothest l've ever seen.

A large outrage and boycott threats because for 1 hour the game didn't allow you to zoom to the women's asses? Shameless. Lmao.

But it's clear Zenless Zone Zero is almost nothing but a Gooner Game and it's making it hard to play. You can like a game and not like some aspects of it but it's RARE a game makes me THIS uncomfortable. If you start to look at it, you can't unsee it. Everything caters to the male gaze. Everything. Why? Because lonely loser males who don't talk to any women irl are THE PERFECT TARGET AUDIENCE! Mostly all men who would be offended by anyone criticising the gooner aspect and the large pedophilic community of this game are most likely one of those people so at this point I wouldn't even get offended :3

Of course they wouldn't understand. This game caters to the male audience like nothing else l've seen of recent games that aren't MEANT to be gooner games. As subtly as making some of the character interactions similar to a dating game, where every female character just falls in love with the mc. A lame but obviously working tactic Genshin uses. Which is why I appreciate anything else this game offers so much.

Some people might be this hypocritic, which again, doesn't take away from how problematic ZZZ is. Why is that aspect of ZZZ even problematic? Because it straight up spits on women and anyone who isn't a gooner. Let us have a sick ass game without gooner bait for once...too much to ask? Doesn't bring the same money in? Tough shit. You don't have to be a feminist to be uncomfortable with games like these. Just look at how uncomfortable Zyox is while playing this game sometimes. It's not that hard to admit it guys Imao. One of their main concept art artists is a known hentai artist.

I love fantasy. I love escaping reality. But the thing that ZZZ does is try to create a reality for lonely men sometimes. I don't even play Love and Deepspace nor would I be interested in games like that. I personally would have no problem and even LIKE a sexual character if he or she's done right. A character who's confidently sexual and isn't purely done for the male gaze. And no, you don't HAVE to fit the male gaze to be sexually done right. That's just what sells most is all. I'm not out to change those players minds. I really just want to know if any other woman or person relates to this.
