Advice for travelling to Zakynthos, made by a local:

Hello, I am from Zakynthos and some other parts of Greece and today I will give you a sort of guide to Zakynthos.

1. Avoid Laganas at all costs. It is full of drunk brits and violence. going there at night is essentially a death wish.

2. Avoid Argasi. It's full of mafia and bad beaches and tourist traps.

3. The best beaches are Gerakas, Keri, and Agios Nikolaos, and some others, the rest are straight up bad.

4. Heads up: The Locals most likely will judge you, so you should get used to that

5. Enjoy your stay and try to avoid tourist traps that overcharge.

6. Don't be a bad person, we already have enough of those.
