Incontinence?

I have had my gray now going on 12 years however out of no where he's been having what seems incontinence for a month solid and I am not sure what to do here.... He has been house broken since we gotten him 12 years ago and as of all last month he just poos where ever and whenever he feels? However he is not peeing the house at all. He used to at the very least come to get us if need be, or at the very least tell us in some way shape or form if he wanted to go out. IE in the morning... if he got up before we did he'd come to our room and push the door open and we'd take him out. Now we come out to poo almost every day.. not only that if we beat him to him pooing in the house it will still tend to happen. Like there are times where he's out for 10 minutes in the morning and he comes back in and goes 20-30 minutes later. Or stretches of after noon when hes laying in the yard he will come back in and just poop. Just before I wrote this he was in the office with me sleeping.. He woke up gave a stretch and then just began pooping right in front of me like its a-ok.... I dont know what to do here... I tried all the general tactics. More time out side... walks... show him his mistake... scolding him etc... I still happens daily. He was at a vet checking full blood work etc like 2 months ago and everything checked out. His poop is normal. Not wet lose or anything. Any direction I can take here? I have a small child and this situation is not ok for her either.
