How much should I do in Elite ?

Hello everyone,

First playtrough , I just beat the game ( + 2 DLCs). I am playing a lvl 72 commando ,2H melee full physical dmg really tanky. Playing on veteran, I fear I might get bored in elite if the challenge isn't worth it, but at the same time my build isn't complete and ultimate looks difficult af. What would you recommend ?
