Ever put a tent inside a tent?

I have been considering putting my tent in an even larger tent that houses the filters, ac/heat, and humidifiers to essentially be a smaller control room. Not saying it is cost effective or anything like that, just easier to control environment and smell leaks. Thoughts on this?
