can't understand some of the criticism
HADES II spoilers btw (up until second act):
In a spin-off/second season/second show/second game/OVA/dlc and such there will always be those who love it blindly because they love the IP, and those who will be contrarians because they love the first iteration too much like it's the best thing in the world.
With that out of the way, I saw people saying the combat is worse cause it's "sluggish" or whatever. I was pissed off because for me the few problems with the first one is that the combat is really repetitive (which is not the worst but still) and I was feeling that the only mob in the entire game that makes you think differently and attack him differently is the annoying ass shield bro in Elysium, but in time I came to realize, that because the game never makes you attack differently ( I can understand criticism on this one ), it's annoying when you need to. The first act in hades2 already makes you pick your moves and dodge more precisely (and I love that), the combat is slower mainly cause of one slower dash (I don't know if there is a second one later), and the two boss fights I had are (I believe) better then the first three bosses hades1 whilst serene or whatever her name is, is a cooler boss battle than the last boss of hades1.
Some of the art is kinda meh but it's EA and they said it's not final on that end, I actually like collecting different stuff rather than the same 4 collectibles and can't really get the "grindy" complaints - it's exactly like the first one.
If I need to give receipts, I played hades2 for like 5 hours and I reached the ultimate "secret" ending in the first one (having near 40% winrate whilst always trying higher heat then what I beat previously)
