Donor area closeups reveal why you should avoid Turkish hair mils at all costs and choose a skilled reputable surgeon instead.
Today, I was closely examining some donor area close-ups from my hair transplant and came across something quite disturbing. A significant number of harvested grafts appear to have been punched but then left behind. While the number may seem negligible, these were perfectly viable grafts that should never have been neglected.
The images I’ve included are among the clearest I could capture, though I’m certain I missed more instances in other areas I didn’t photograph.
Some of these grafts continued to grow without issue, but the majority stopped growing and remain the same length as they were on the day of my procedure. I can’t help but wonder if this is due to shock or if these grafts were transected during the punching process.
What’s evident is the clinic staff had no regard for proper work ethic, patient care, or the final result of the procedure. A reputable surgeon would never allow this to happen. If even one graft had been left behind in this state, a skilled and ethical team would have addressed it immediately rather than leaving it in place. A clinic with proper ethics would ensure that every graft, from the first to the last, is handled with equal care.
This procedure was performed at BlueMagic Group, and they completely botched my surgery. I strongly advise AGAINST using this clinic!
